2013 Nominee: Tomás Custer

El Innovator

Tomás is an expert content curator with the mission to empower people by informing and engaging them with relevant and comprehensive Hispanic/Latino news in the most useful, efficient and stimulating formats. Driven by a glaring lack of news in English about Latinos, he founded Hispanic Tips in 2005 and since has shared 115,000 posts with over 4 million people. Whether providing news on politics, health, education, and immigration, or covering  social justice, culture, and business stories, Tomás has created a space for Latinos and non-Latinos alike to stay on top of what affects our diverse, vibrant and vital community.
