2013 Nominee: Rick Wion
In true Revolucionario fashion, Rick Wion has been the driving force behind McDonald’s various social marketing campaigns for the past seven years. He has inspired Latinos worldwide to exclaim “me encanta” by creating a one-stop Spanish language website for McDonald’s lovers to connect through music, online games and interactive downloads. Yet his true dedication to la gente is manifested in his work with HACER, a McDonalds House Charities program that provides scholarships to aspiring high school graduates. This pursuit has made the dreams of higher education possible for young Latinos and Latinas nationwide.
