Revolucinario Lalo Alcaraz named one of LA’s most interesting people
2012 has been a great year for this líder as he keeps us laughing and breaks new ground online and off. Well-known for his satirical cartoons that get la gente talking, Alcaraz participated in COUNTER-Con, an offsite new convention designed to provide those underserved in the arts a chance to be a part of the Comic-Con experience. Alcaraz took part in the Inner City Comics, Animation, and Games Art panels where he was able to discuss his career and provide inspiración to those who want to follow his lead.
He also scored his second 1st place win for Best Editorial Cartoon at the 54th annual Southern California Journalism Awards, re-emphasizing the fact that he is making history as an influencer. Which leads us to a new project we are really excited about - recently, Alcaraz made an announcement on his personal blog stating that he would be animating a pilot episode for a major TV network - que ganas!
To check out his latest entertainment and risas check out Poncho.com or his new creation on Twitter, @MexicanMitt, which has become an Internet sensation, along with his rival @Broncobama2012.
Congratulations Lalo and Que Viva La Revolución!
